While there were worthy contenders, for sheer breast size and shape alone, Karina dominated in 2008 just for those reasons. SCORE: How did you originally get into nude modeling? Was this something you had thought about doing before you started doing it?
Karina: No, I never thought about it before. I always wanted to be an actress in movies and plays. When I was a small child, I wanted to be a fashion model, but as you can see, my body is not built for that. Once my breasts started to develop, I knew that I wouldn’t be able to be a fashion model. Models are all tall and skinny with tiny breasts. I have big breasts. But I am very happy to be doing what I am doing right now, because whether you are a fashion model or a nude model, you are still a model and having fun in front of the camera and showing off, and I like that. It’s very hard to imagine Victoria Lane’s V-Mag body being hidden away inside a military uniform, but that’s her normal work attire. Too sexy for their shirts, Alix Lakehurst and Alanna Ackerman both jumped right into hardcore, and Italian sweater-stretcher Anna Carlene was a big hit. As V-Mag continues to evolve in 2009 and beyond, there’s one thing to keep in mind above everything else. There would not be a 15th Anniversary of Voluptuous without you, our magazine readers, our DVD watchers, our website members.
